Eleanor was founded by Ellen Johanne Gleditsch and Philipp-Christian Diehl. As an independent art advisory, Eleanor provides bespoke services for private collectors, corporate clients, and institutions – sourcing and acquiring fine art, curating and refining collections, and assisting with the considered sale of works. With a long-term, client-focused approach, Eleanor advises and guides its clients across all facets of the art market.
Beyond this, Eleanor is driven by an appreciation for the rare qualities that make an artwork compelling: its aura, its presence, its quiet ability to move and endure. Each work carries its own resonance, and Eleanor’s role is to help articulate why it matters – and why it belongs in a collection that will continue to grow in meaning over time.
